Jim Tenner is founder and President of Broadleaf Services, Inc. Broadleaf was started in 2002 with the mission of helping companies reduce the cost and complexity of storing, managing and protecting their data assets. Broadleaf helps organizations take advantage of the best possible data storage, virtualization, and WAN optimization technologies to meet their goals. Providing hardware, software and on-going services, Broadleaf delivers budget-conscious integrated solutions for data storage, data protection, lifecycle management, server and client virtualization and WAN optimization. Broadleaf uses its process oriented approach to create a successful solution according to the scope of each client's needs ranging from providing technology all the way to full architecture, design, implementation and ongoing support services.
Jim leads all strategic, financial, and operational aspects for Broadleaf Services, bringing 20 years experience building market-leading companies and managing large organizations. Jim was one of five founding members of AT&T Capital, a multi-billion dollar financial services organization, where he built and managed one of the world's largest small business commercial credit processing centers. As President and Chief Operating Officer of AT&T Capital Leasing Services, Jim played a key role in bringing AT&T Capital public on the NYSE and then later taking the company private again.
More recently, Jim was the former President and Chief Operating Officer of the Family Education Network, the largest K-12 Internet network, where he led its rapid growth, successful segment expansions, and development of strategic partnerships with Harcourt and America Online.
Jim received his MBA The Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College in 1982 and his BA in Environmental Economics from Middlebury College in 1981.
